Reasons not to use Snap Preview
I’ve noticed that more and more sites are adopting Snap Preview. This is a service that provides a graphical preview of a site in a popup when you hover over a link. I find these popups annoying but beyond my annoyance there are no good reasons to use Snap preview and several usability and accessibility not to use it.
Where to get free and open-source web design templates
There are a few sites that offer free web design templates.
Open Web Design was formed after a split between the founders of Open Source Web Designs. Later Open Web Design was sold and ads started appearing within templates without the approval of the authors. Open Designs was formed in response and seems to be an attempt to finally have a site owned and operated by the community of contributers. Hopefully this new site will avoid the controversies of the past.
