I’ve been quiet here over the last couple of months as I’ve been working hard on a new project. The project is called Gaambol and it’s a social network for people interested in Poker and Gambling. You can access the Gaambol Beta now and start using it.
Gaambol is a social network for poker players. Our long term aim is to build a suite of tools that aid gamblers and poker players.
The main features of the Beta release are a tool for hand history analysis and statistics, a tool for writing posts discussing poker, and directory of interesting poker links.
The Gaambol tracker is a tool for reviewing and analyzing your hand history. When you start playing poker online your should review your play regularly in order to continually progress and improve. The tracker tools allows you to upload your hand history files from online poker rooms, view summary statistics about your play and review and discuss hands you won and lost with other people.
The Gaambol blog editor makes it easy to discuss hands than you played using a table diagram and the ability to add cards to your posts. See here for an example post created with the editor.
The Gaambol directory is searchable listing of gambling sites from around the web with the ability to add reviews and ratings.
For news and feature announcements keep an eye on my Gaambol blog. Check out the welcome page for a tour of the current features. Signup for an account to get started and let me know what you think.
Very nice indeed.
Damn I need to get back on track with my Rails dev!! lol
Gaambol sounds fantastic & on initial inspection look fantastic as well. Thanks for putting your time and efforts into creating a place where we (poker addicts) can all hang out together.
I'll be spending some time in the next few days having a good look, and if it continues to be as great as it seems now, I'll definitely be referring all of my poker colleagues in your direction.
